About

Most people have never heard of Dindeya — a town in Guinea where our founders' families are from. For generations, residents walked long distances for basic care, women gave birth without medical support, and families lost loved ones to treatable conditions. Simply because there was no real hospital.

This campaign is community-led and powered by the diaspora. We're building the first hospital in Dindeya — with delivery rooms, consultation areas, observation wards, and a pharmacy — so that mothers, children, and elders can finally access real healthcare close to home.

Current State

The facility lacks adequate medical infrastructure. Residents are treated in deteriorating spaces or must travel long distances for proper care.

Future State

The new health post will include delivery and consultation rooms, observation wards, a pharmacy, and 24/7 emergency care access for all residents.

Water Access Project – Dindeya 2023

  • Construction of a water tower serving the entire village

In 2023, we raised a total of $14,000 to implement a water access system serving the Dindeya community. The project included a water tower, a 5,000-liter storage tank, and a distribution network connecting key areas of the village.

As a result, over 5,000 residents now have improved access to clean and reliable water — a lasting infrastructure solution that directly improves quality of life.

Mosque Renovation Project – Dindeya 2022

Mosque Renovation Project

  • Structural repairs and comprehensive interior restoration
  • Upgraded flooring throughout the entire facility
  • Enhanced capacity to accommodate a larger number of worshippers
  • Improved environment for daily prayers, الجمعة (Jummah), and community gatherings

In 2022, we successfully raised $15,000 to support the renovation of the central mosque in Dindeya. The project transformed a deteriorating structure into a safe, clean, and dignified place of worship for the community.

Beyond the physical upgrades, this project strengthened community unity and demonstrated what collective action can achieve — a clear example of our commitment to preserving important community institutions.
